Asianfanatics uses members groups to show our appreciation to members.

The higher the rank of a group is, the more privileges the member get.

  • Unregistered users are shown as Guests. They are only able to post in the AF Help & Feedback Center and the Dear-AF Forum. They can browse through most of the sections, but can't post or start a new topic.

  • Everyone start as AF-n00b. After getting 10 posts, you will become an "AF-newbie". As a AF-n00b, you can't edit your profile/your signature or your avatar and no pm-system. This group has minimal rights on the site, basically only posting and replying to topics in the forum and viewing images to the celebs gallery.

  • The 2nd rank AF-newbies. After getting 20 posts you can ask for promotion to get to the members group. This group can edit their profiles, but still no pm-system.

  • The 3rd rank is "Members" which gives you access to certain hidden sections on AF, ability to send PMs, allows you to access certain features (personal profilepage, blog), changing your displayname etc.

  • The 4th rank is "Members+". You get this rank automaticly if your postcount has reached 80 posts or more AND you were in the members-group. You can get even more PM and upload space.

  • The 5th rank is "Advanced members". You get this rank automaticly if your postcount has reached 1500 posts AND you are not in the AF-newbie group. The features that you get access to is for you to find.

  • A special group is "AF supporters". These are the ones who had financially supported AF by donating money. They get the same privileges as "Advanced Members"
