Rules:

We create these rules to make this forum a friendly environment for all of our members. A lot of people come to this forum to read the latest up-to-date news. We hope that those who come and contribute, will feel satisfied. Knowing they can rely on us for the most up-to-date news is a great feeling. We hope to continue this. Anyone who wishes to disturb the public will be brought down with the proper punishment(s). Please help us to making this forum, and the entire forum, a place for everyone to share their ideas and opinions, in a friendly manner. Thank you.


1. If you are going to post news articles, please read this:

  • Please give credit to all articles you post in this forum. That means providing a link back to that site, providing the name of the site you got it from, or the name of the person who translated.
  • In the Topic Description Line (under the 'Topic Title') You MUST put the day of the week, Month/day/Year, and Place the article takes place. So it will look like this:

  • We strongly urge everyone to post in a readable font, font size and font color. Please avoid too much formatting like bold & italics.
  • Check to see if your article has already been posted. If it already has, please contact a moderator so that the topics can be merged together.
  • Do not post in all caps, and please make good titles.
  • For Entertainment News: Please upload all pictures to the celebrity gallery on AF. This will help to preserve the pictures and prevent it from being "X-ed". Upload it to other image hosting sites , ONLY if AF gallery is down.
  • Thumbnail images are preferred as attachments in News.
  • Please post news only from 2 weeks back at most. This way, we maintain the news posted here fresh and up-to-date.
  • We do not allow you to post articles from certain sites. If we find that you posted it from a site that is not allowed, you will be notified, and the article will be sent to the trash can.


If any of these rules are broken, you may find your topic in the trash can. Any further questions, feel free to send a private message or email to any moderator.


2. If you take news from our site:

  • If one of our members translated the article, please give the proper credit by putting their name on your site and a link back to asianfanatics forums.
  • If the news article is taken from another site, but one of our members posted it in our site, it would be nice that you would give asianfanatics credit saying you got it from us. But if you don't, its ok. We just prefer that you do, thats all.
  • Members or guests who see someone breaking any of these rules, please report it to a moderator immediately, so that it can be dealt with asap.


3. Rules for people who will reply to the news articles:

  • DO NOT SPAM. Under this page you can find links for more information about spamposts.
  • Please refrain from any kind of swearing. You will receive warnings if you are found to break this rule.
  • It is okay to share your opinion, but please do it in a mature manner.
