What Programs do I use to play my file?

Sometimes when you download a movie files like .mpg or .mpeg it will not run in Windows Media Player because it is not compatitble. Why is it not compatitble? Well, the creaters probably used Divx codec files...
Below you will find a small list of File types and the recommended program to use.
File Type and Program Used:
- .avi --> Divx Player (www.divx.com)
- .rmvb/.rm --> Real Player (www.real.com)
- .ogm --> Coded Player (www.corecoded.com)
- .mpeg/.mpg --> Real Player (www.real.com) / Divx Player
- .mp3 --> Windows Media Player
- .ogg --> Vorbis (www.vorbis.com)
- .dat --> Divx Player
Want a program to listen to music try the following programs (if tired of Windows Media Player)
- WinAmp (www.winamp.com)
- Foobar 2000 (www.foobar2000.org) <-- I use this v. small
Tip: Sometimes when you want to convert or play a file which contains chinese characters will give you problems. You can solve this by rename the file into "a normal name" like video.rmvb or install the Asian Language Package.
